Boys Varsity Soccer - Fall

Varsity soccer is for home school boys grades 9-12 in the Richmond area. Richmond Warhawks Boys Varsity Soccer plays in the CCAC during the fall season. Varsity practices 3 days a week.

Beginning August 5th, practices will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4-530pm weather permitting.
(Some Friday games may be scheduled)

The first Varsity practice will be Monday August 5th at:

Landmark Baptist Church
4000 Creighton Rd.
Richmond, VA 23223

Beginning late August Varsity practices will move to:

Pole Green Park 
8996 Pole Green Park Lane
Mechanicsville, VA 23116

Boys Middle School Soccer - (Ages 12-14) Fall 

Boys Middle School Soccer is for home school boys ages 12-14 in the Richmond area.
Starting August 12th, Middle School practices three times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-530pm.

Practices will initially be held at the following address:
Landmark Baptist Church
4000 Creighton Rd.
Richmond, VA 23223

Then later in August move to:
Pole Green Park 
8996 Pole Green Park Lane
Mechanicsville, VA 23116

Primary Skills Soccer - Co-Ed Juniors (ages 8-11) - Spring and Fall

This is a great opportunity for younger players to make friends, develop soccer skills, get exercise and prepare for Middle School and eventually Varsity soccer. When feasible, scrimmages are arranged with other like-aged teams.
Starting August 12th 2024, Juniors practice twice a week on Monday and Thursday 4:00 to 5:30 PM. 
Games are usually played on Thursdays and some Mondays, and will be with the Sabot League. 

Primary Skills Soccer - Co-Ed PeeWee (ages 5-7) - Spring and Fall  

The PeeWee level is primarily focused on skill-building, and meets once weekly for practice on Mondays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM starting August 19th 2024.

Girls Varsity Soccer - Spring 2025 Registration CLOSED

Varsity soccer is for home school girls grades 9-12 in the Richmond area. Exceptional younger players will be accepted on a case by case basis. Richmond Spirit Girls Varsity Soccer plays in the CCAC during the spring season. Varsity practices 3-4 days a week. The season typically lasts until the last week of May.
Practice starts in March, and will initially be 4pm-6pm Mon, Tues and Thurs.

Girls Middle School Soccer - (Ages 12-14) Spring 2025 Registration CLOSED
Girls Middle School Soccer is for home school girls ages 12-14 in the Richmond area. Middle School practices begin in March , two times a week on Mondays and Thursdays 4:00-5:15pm 

Practices will held at the following address:

Our teams adhere to all CCAC and VHSAA eligibility requirements. Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines to be sure your child is eligible to play.

Soccer FAQ:

Communication during the season is primarily done through the game changer app. Your coach will send you an invitation to join the team on the app. A link to download for your model phone can be found here: https://gc.com/download 

Spring soccer practice starts in mid March (Registration for Spring Soccer will open in February 2024)
Fall soccer practice starts in early August. (Registration for Fall Soccer will open Summer 2024)

How much does it cost to play soccer?
Varsity: $185
Middle School: $135
Juniors: $125
PeeWee: $85

There is a $15 discount for each additional child registered. 
An Early Bird Discount of $15 per child will be available for those who register by August 19th, 2024.

If paying by check, please submit payment to the Team Coach or Team Manager.

Please note that paying by credit card online will incur an additional 3.4% fee.
 Each online registration transaction is subject to a $3 service fee from the web host, Sports Connect.
